Experience days

Oorala Youth Program Experience Days

INSPIRING OUR FUTURE ACADEMICS

OUR NEXT EXPERIENCE DAY CAMP IS 29 OCTOBER 2024 – 1 NOVEMBER 2024

Our Experience Days introduce students in Years 10, 11 and 12 to higher education at UNE. Students have the option of participating in a single day, or the entire three-day program which includes a full university experience and overnight stays at a UNE College.

Our Experience Days are FREE and we cover all of the costs associated with travel, accommodation and meals.

Held at UNE’s main campus in Armidale NSW, we’re all about opening minds, exploring pathways and making new connections.

Some of the things students will get to experience while they are on campus are:

  • find out what’s possible after high school
  • visit undergraduate lectures
  • take part in hands-on tutorials, presentations, demonstrations and workshops
  • meet university students and find out what university life is like
  • find out about degrees and careers in areas that may be of interest
Each day covers a number of activities from a range of different faculties. From Science and Technology, to Sports Science, Humanities, Business and Law (and so much more), students will open their minds to new possibilities whilst having fun along the way!

The best part is, students will be surrounded by people who listen to their questions and offer advice and guidance about opportunities in the future.

Not only will students feel more comfortable and confident with university life, they will make new connections and see what’s truly possible.
