OUR PATHWAY ACADEMY

GROWING LEADERS OUR WAY

Our Pathway Academy is an empowering youth program that motivates and inspires Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students in Years 8 – 12 to aspire to be future leaders through a connected cultural learning experience.

Our Pathway Academy has been designed in collaboration with the NSW Department of Education, local schools and communities to ensure that students have a sense of readiness, acceptance and belonging throughout their learning journey.

Our online and on-campus experiences allow students to be part of our learning community, locally and from a distance. We have three components to get students excited and study ready for their future learning at UNE:

Academy Curriculum

An online, self-paced learning experience linked to Country and Culture, ready for delivery in the classroom.

Academy Experience Days

A one to three day on-campus experience, participating in a series of workshops and lectures and exploring study options at UNE.

Academy School Visits

Our Student Recruitment Team offer school visits across NSW to share information about our programs and pathways into UNE.

Through the Pathway Academy, students are inspired to experience different learning opportunities and explore degree options that will support the next steps after high school. We encourage self-discovery, embracing identity and celebrating culture.
